( Cincinnati ) - The group "Believe in Cincinnati" had coffee and donuts for streetcar workers this morning at Findlay Market. It was a celebration of construction firing back up for the first full day on Friday.
Project Manager John Deatrick says it'll still be a little while before they know how much the end date will be affected by the suspension from earlier this month. He's still tentatively planning on being done by the fall of 2016.
Deatrick also took a concilliatory tone when it came to working with city leaders who are still against the project: "we definitely want to get together and work with the mayor and make him hopefully feel it's a success for him." Mayor John Cranley was elected largely on an anti-streetcar platform.
