( Ohio, Indiana ) - Ohioans approve Issue One by nearly a 2-to-1 margin. It is a public works measure that could benefit roadways, bridges and other infrastructure.

Republican Shannon Jones wins her race toward Ohio's Seventh District Senate seat over challenger Kelly Kohls

Loveland approves its school levy.  

The Hamilton County MRDD levy wins easily.  Cheviot approves it tax levy.  The Loveland Fire and EMS levy won. Delhi approves its tax levy, as does Brown County.  

The Colerain Township levy vote is split 50 50. It is leading by 11 votes.

John Boehner wins easily over Republican challengers J.D. Winteregg and Eric Gurr. Winteregg garnered a lot of Tea Party support.

Cindy Carpenter beats three other challengers in the Republican run for Butler County Commissioner. 

The Fairfield city schools levy was approved. 

The Middletown city schools levy is split 50 50. It is leading by 21 votes.

Goshen Township fire and EMS levy is approved.   The City of Milford levy gets a thumbs up.

Franklin approves a school levy.

Waynesville defeats an income tax.

Democrat Susan Hall Heitzman is the top vote getter for Indiana's sixth congressional district.

Republican Jeff Raatz is the winner for the Indiana state senate district 27.

Republican Chip Perfect beats two others to win the nod for Indiana state senate district 43.

Republicans Peter Beck of Mason and Peter Stautberg of Cincinnati lost their primaries.  Beck was indicted in July for allegedly misleading investors about a company's financial status and then using the money for personal gain.
