(Cincinnati)-- No baby Polar Bear in Cincinnati. A trained Beagle's smell tests for polar bear pregnancies, came up negative for Cincinnati Zoo's ``Berit''.

The test being tried out this year, saw animal conservation scientists at the Cincinnati Zoo work with a dog trainer in Shawnee, Kan., a 2-year-old Beagle named Elvis was trained to sniff for proteins found in pregnant polar bears.

Zoos around the country provided fecal samples for testing, It unknown if any zoo received a positive result, but it may be similar to last year, as only three cubs were born in U.S. zoos in 2012.
