(Dayton, Oh)Ohio Attorney General Mike Dewine met with African-American religious leaders in Dayton Monday about the Aug. 5 police-involved shooting death of John Crawford III at a Beavercreek Walmart. There is concern rallies planned for Tuesday may escalate into violence, like that seen in Ferguson Missouri. Crawford was on the phone with his wife when was shot to death by Beavercreek police officers. He was holding a BB gun which was Walmart merchandise that he was carrying around the store. Dewine said he is working with local pastors to keep the rallies peaceful. The first rally will be at Courthouse Square in Downtown Dayton at noon. The second event will be held at Central State University at 6 p.m.
