( Cincinnati ) - Separate court rulings have found in favor of the City of Cincinnati in its plan to lease parking to the Port Authority, but those against it are still fighting.

The Ohio Supreme Court agreed with an appeals court Wednesday, saying City Council's use of the emergency clause to pass the parking plan was legal.

The anti-parking plan group has also launched a new legal attack, arguing to Hamilton County Judge Ralph Winkler that it was illegal for City Manager Milton Dohoney to change the contract after City Council passed the measure. Judge Winkler refused to grant them a temporary injunction on those grounds, but there is still a permanent injunction hearing scheduled for later this month.
