(Cincinnati)--Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted voted to break a 2-2 tie between members of the Hamilton County Board of Elections and allow a move to Mt. Airy. Husted had said that the issue should be resolved locally but cast the vote that would send the Board and early voting to a former hospital.

Hamilton County is considered a battleground in the swing state of Ohio and moving early voting could have an impact on a national level. Over 20,000 people voted early in the 2012 election.

Tim Burke, with the Hamilton County Democratic Party, says that he expects a fight over the change. He says the NAACP has pledged to sue if early voting is moved. Republicans say that it makes sense financially.
