(Cincinnati, OH.)—General Eclectic will be building its new global operations center on The Banks on Cincinnati’s riverfront.

The center will bring in up to 2,000 workers and jobs.

The company has been seeking a spot in Cincinnati for their office and were deciding between The Banks, Oakley, and Mason.

The new center will have administrators, accountants, technicians, and other high salary positions, and is expected to bring 1,400 jobs with an estimated payroll of $111 million in the first few years.

Ohio’s Tax Credit Authority approved an 85 percent job creation tax credit for the project that will become a reimbursement of $51 million to GE if they produce the predicted jobs.

A former announcement from GE is expected soon.

GE is number 8 on the Fortune 500 rankings and has more than 300,000 employees and sales of over $147 billion worldwide.
