(Indian Hill) -- The fire was reported just before 4 o'clock, and within minutes, the tower of smoke could be seen across the area.

The mansion sits back among the trees, off of a long, winding driveway.  That was one challenge for firefighters.  Another was a lack of water.  The Madeira-Indian Hill Fire Department called for mutual aid, and several communities responded, sending tanker trucks to ferry water to the scene.

By 5pm, the smoke had died down as the fire was brought under control.  But not before destroying this 22 room, 10,000 square foot mansion, worth an estimated $4 million.
