(Over-The-Rhine) Cincinnati firefighters battled a fire in multi-use building in Over-The Rhine early Wednesday morning. A fire alarm at the Zula Restaurant alerted fire crews and they were dispatched to investigate at about 3:30 p.m.. Firefighters found the sprinkler system had gone off when a fire from the basement spread to the first floor through heating ducts. Most of the fire was contained by the sprinklers, so it only took CFD about 10 minutes to put out the remaining flames. Damage from the fire was estimated at $10,000 and is currently under investigation by the Fire Investigative Unit. There were no reported injuries.
