(Union, Kentucky,)--One man is dead after a crash in Union, Kentucky Sunday, morning and two others were sent to area hospitals.
Police say around 7:00 a.m. Bobby Jones, 26, was traveling northbound on U.S.-25 approaching Frogtown Road traveling in the southbound lane. Jones attempt to avoid colliding with a southbound car driven by Richard Taylor, 27, of Elsmere, Kentucky the two cars collided causing Jones' car to flip onto its top and block the road.
Police say not long after the initial crash Frank Berry, 62, of Aurora, Indiana was traveling northbound on U.S.-25 when he collided with Jones' car in the middle of the road knocking it into a pedestrian, Chelsie Ketron, 30, of Walton, Kentucky who had come to help.
Jones was taken to Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, Kentucky where he was pronounced dead.
Taylor and Ketron were also taken to Saint Elizabeth in Florence. Taylor was treated and released. Ketron has been transferred to University Medical Center in Cincinnati. Berry was uninjured.
The road was reopened around 9:50 a.m.
