(Cincinnati)-- The Diamond Palace Nightclub in downtown Cincinnati will shut down after an undercover police investigation found illegal activity at the nightclub.
City Solicitor John Curp, said the nightclub worked out an agreement with the city in which they would cease operations.
Today's agreement means the misdemeanor criminal charge against the Club was dropped, the Club will shut down, and the owners will have to wait more than a year before they can apply for another business permit.
The Diamond Palace at 5th and Elm had been under investigation by Cincinnati Police for months, after they discovered nude dancers touching customers and more, the city ordered the club to shut down in mid-October.
Curp says it was a promoter who brought in the dancers several times a week.
