(Cincinnati, OH.)-- It has been decided that Hamilton County is the owner of the Metropolitan Sewer District and gets to make the rules over the sewer polices.

The county has been fighting with the state for over two years about who sets the polices after the City of Cincinnati imposed rules that favored contractors and supposedly increased the project costs.

After failed attempts at compromise, putting sewer projects on hold, the County asked the court to weigh in.

U.S. District Court Magistrate Karen Litkovitz ruled that the County owned the Sewer District and gets the final say in the polices and rules.
