(WALTON, Ky) – Firefighters arrived at I-75 in Walton after two people driving a Ford Focus were pinned against a concrete wall on Monday evening. A tractor-trailer was changing lanes on northbound I-75 when the Ford Focus ended up underneath the trailer.

            The two people in the Ford Focus Chris York, 33, of Verona, and Anna Speier, 44, of Bromley suffered non-life-threatening injuries.  Fire crews had to extravate them from the vehicle and they were airlifted to UC Medical Center. The truck’s driver was not hurt.

            Northbound lanes of I-75 were shut down for a couple of hours on Monday evening as crews cleaned up.
