After 14 straight victories, the University of Cincinnati Bearcats cracked the Top 10 Monday in the latest Associated Press poll.  UC moves up from No. 13 to No. 7, their highest ranking since they were No. 8 on January 19, 2004.

Cincinnati stands 21-2 on the year and 1-0 in the American Athletic Conference and last appeared in the top 10 on December 24, 2012, when it was ranked No. 8 after starting the season with 12 straight win.

UC guard Sean Kilpatrick has been named the American Athletic Conference Player of the Week. Kilpatrick led Cincinnati to a pair of wins last week while averaging 23.o points , 3.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists.
