Accused Covington City Embezzler in Court

( Covington, Kentucky ) - A Kenton County judge ruled Wednesday that Robert Due can stay free on bond, but he must seek mental health treatment.

The former Covington Finance Director is accused of embezzling more than a half million dollars. Due allegedly tried to commit suicide after his initial arrest in August.

A Kenton County grand jury will decide if Due will be indicted on charges like unlawful taking, official misconduct, and more.
